Mosimann and Kominek collaborate on a 100% Swiss “Dream Track”
In this “Dream Track,” the iconic sound of the Aromat shaker is on the menu.
When two Swiss artists lock themselves in the studio to create a 100% Swiss track for us, the result oscillates between homage and self-parody. And apparently, people love it. In less than 24 hours, the video is already a hit on Instagram.

It’s a concept that’s gaining traction. The idea behind Mosimann’s “Dream Track” is simple: invite a personality and create, in a few minutes, “their dream track.” A musical laboratory, a mix of everything and anything (and mostly anything).
Their latest creation, released on social media on Monday, is no exception. This time, Alexandre Kominek is giving instructions to the master DJ. And of course, when two Swiss decide to go all out on local ingredients… It results in a beautiful concentration of Swiss clichés.
On the menu of this “Dream Track”: the iconic sound of the Aromat shaker (probably the most underrated instrument in the country), Roger Federer’s backhand, Stan Wawrinka’s forehand, “Swiss, not borderless” cowbells, a creaky ski lift, the passing of a tram, not forgetting the legendary political punchline by Johann Schneider-Ammann:
“Laughter is good for health.”
A cherry on top, Kylian Mbappé’s missed penalty at Euro 2021 against Switzerland. Yes, the one that stirred the whole country.
The result? Let’s just say Kominek seems to be having fun while Mosimann does his best to organize this joyous chaos. And the worst (or best, or best of the worst) part is that the audience is following along. In less than 24 hours, the video has already surpassed 700,000 views on Instagram. Let’s hope that the track becomes the hit of the summer, something we’ll listen to by the pool at Bellerive, it’s just a step away.
Alexandre Kominek is currently promoting “Recalé,” his series on Netflix. As for Mosimann, he’s gearing up for Swiss festivals this summer, possibly with a few cowbells in his sets.
