On the occasion of the broadcast of new episodes of the adventures of the famous reporter Tintin, we delve into the challenge of imagination and precision faced by composer Olivier Daviaud since 2016.

The Orchestre national de France fills our ears with majestic brass and twinkling harp sounds. Tintin and Captain Haddock have just set foot on an island not far from where the ship La Licorne was attacked by pirates centuries ago. Amplified by the symphonic music of the Orchestre national de France, the images of Red Rackham’s Treasure inevitably appear before the listeners’ eyes. The eighth album of the Adventures of Tintin adapted by France Culture is a continuation of the remarkable Secret of the Unicorn, which was broadcast in the summer of 2023.
