His sister, Shana Muldoon-Zappa, quickly specified to TMZ that the actor collapsed in the bathroom after having coffee with his partner, Miriam Rothbart, in their Beverly Hills home.
Worried when he did not return, Rothbart went to check on him and found him unconscious on the floor. Despite prompt medical assistance, they were unable to revive him. Patrick Muldoon is survived by his partner Miriam Rothbart, his parents Deanna and Patrick Muldoon Sr., his sister Shana Muldoon-Zappa, his brother-in-law Ahmet Zappa, as well as their children, Halo and Arrow Zappa. Upon hearing the sad news, many personalities who knew the actor well rushed to pay tribute to him on social media.
Lola Sheen, Denise Richards’ daughter, paid a heartfelt tribute to Patrick Muldoon on Instagram on Tuesday, April 21, following his sudden death at the age of 57. At 20 years old, Lola Sheen had a very close relationship with the actor, thanks to their long-standing friendship and her mother’s previous relationship with the star of the show Days of Our Lives. She wrote on Instagram, “I thought you were one of those who were supposed to stay in our lives forever,” and continued, “When I think of my childhood, I think of you, Pat, and it will be so strange to continue without you in our lives … Thank you for showing everyone around you how to really live.” She described him as “the ultimate definition of what it means to have fun.”
