The first unified council of the 28th season of “Koh-Lanta” ended in a tie and a black ball draw.

The first episode of “Koh-Lanta” post-merger wreaked havoc on the “Reliques du Destin” camp. The episode aired on Tuesday, April 21 on TF1, was the end of one of the most emblematic candidates of this 28th season of the show.

Despite his departure, this candidate, a member of the yellow team, made a mark for his outspokenness, as well as his remarks and behaviors deemed misogynistic before his eviction on the 19th day of the adventure. However, even after his departure, this candidate stands by (almost) all of his words in front of or away from TF1’s cameras, even if it creates divisions.

Ulrich, a 43-year-old bus driver, possibly the most divisive candidate throughout the season, was eliminated at the first council of the merged tribe. After a tie, he was the one who drew the famous black ball against Antonin.

After his elimination, this controversial candidate, following accusations of misogyny in the adventure, which led to a clash online with the double winner of “Koh-Lanta” Clémence Castel, came back in the press about his actions. He stands by everything, except being labeled as misogynistic.

Ulrich also addresses the debate about food distribution between men and women in the camp, emphasizing that it was about meeting nutritional needs, not about gender.

Ulrich reflects on his clash with Clémence Castel, admitting that it gave a negative image of the show. He acknowledges his mistake in handling the situation publicly.

The situation now seems to be moving towards reconciliation, as Ulrich announces a live debrief on Wednesday evening on his social media. However, he warns, “Be numerous, I feel like extinguishing some adventurers.”
