There are 19 cinemas in France on the global list. Among the likes of Grand Rex in Paris, Elysée Lincoln, Nova Cinema in Saint-Dié-des-Vosges, the Majestic Rive Gauche in Dole stands proudly. The brand new cinema in Comtois is awarded the “Blue Ribbon Award” by Box Office Pro, which represents global excellence in the industry. This distinction not only acknowledges the hospitality, but also the technology, operation, and design of the establishments.

Jean-Claude Tupin, the “cinema man” of Franche-Comté and designer of the cinema in Dole, is touched by this recognition from the industry. “But especially for the public,” he says. “We wanted to create a beautiful cinema for the public. It’s great that it is being rewarded.”
This ranking is a novelty. It is led by Box Office Pro, which has just created this label to encourage good initiatives, creations, and innovations in cinema around the world. It is associated with the International Cinema Technology Association. The first global ranking in 45 countries includes 200 establishments, of which 19 are in France.
