On the sidelines of International Women’s Rights Day on March 8, the Departmental Council of Somme and the Departmental Olympic and Sports Committee 80 are organizing a conference dedicated to women’s sports in Somme.
On Tuesday, March 3, starting at 6:30 pm, the Maison des Sports will host the conference “Sports for All debate with female sports ambassadors from Somme”. On this occasion, six athletes, female sports ambassadors of the Departmental Council of Somme, will be present. Erika Sauzeau (para-rowing), Jeanne Lechevalier (swimming), Vanessa Lokuli (athletics), Tiphaine Mauchant (athletics), Louise-Marie Thévenin-Lebran (athletics), and Maëlle Traoré (French boxing) will share their journeys, successes, challenges, and the difficulties they may encounter in their respective practices.

The event is open to all, but as the number of seats is limited, registration is strongly encouraged via the following link: HERE
