Another title to add to Cristiano Ronaldo’s impressive list of achievements. The 41-year-old Portuguese player won the Saudi Arabian championship with Al Nassr on Thursday, May 21. By scoring a double, Cristiano Ronaldo played a significant role in his team’s 4-1 victory against Damac on the 34th and final matchday of the season. This is the first trophy for the Portuguese star since joining the kingdom in 2023.
Leading the championship before this crucial match, Al Nassr finished the season two points ahead of Al Hilal, where Karim Benzema also plays. The Riyadh-based club had not won the Saudi Pro League since 2019.
Cristiano Ronaldo experienced the final minutes on the sidelines, not hiding his emotions after clinching his first title in Saudi Arabia. Ronaldo will now focus on North America, where he is preparing to compete in his sixth and final World Cup with Portugal.
