The BFMTV correspondent in the United States was able to interview Donald Trump on negotiations with Iran. “They were supposed to conclude a deal,” warned the American president.
In a telephone conversation with BFMTV, Donald Trump stated on Saturday, May 16 that he did not know if an agreement would be reached with Iran, on the 76th day of the war triggered by the United States and Israel.
“I have no idea. If they don’t, they will have a very bad time. They were supposed to conclude a deal,” stated the American president to our correspondent in the United States, Antoine Heulard.
According to information from the American press, including the New York Times, Donald Trump must decide in the coming hours whether or not to resume strikes against the Iranian regime, as discussions on ending the war and the Iranian nuclear program have not yet yielded results.
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said on Friday in New Delhi that he had “received messages” from Washington in favor of restarting negotiations to end the conflict affecting the entire Middle East, and expressed openness to assistance from Beijing.
