After a defeat last week in Bourges during the first leg of the La Boulangère WonderLigue final, Julie Barennes’ players could not afford to make mistakes in front of their home crowd, and they did not disappoint. This match between the two best teams of the regular season started off intense. Despite a close first quarter, Basket Landes took a slight lead thanks to Myrian Djekoundade and Yohana Ewodo.
Bourges struggled offensively and could not regain the lead, eventually falling 59-54. Basket Landes now enjoys home advantage in the deciding match on Sunday in Mont-de-Marsan.
