On May 15, 2026 at 7:10 am, the Musicales du Bocage festival aims to promote various forms of musical expression, ranging from baroque to romantic, through modern and contemporary periods.

“The festival features young and incredibly talented musicians,” says Lionel Lerch, president of the event. “Pianists, violinists, violists, cellists, an organist, opera singers. They will share a magnificent musical moment with enthusiasm and passion, performing works by Bach, Mozart, Schubert, Rachmaninov, and many others.”

The invited artists are promising young interpreters, trained in the best conservatories and some have prestigious distinctions. The festival provides them with a unique opportunity to showcase their talent and develop their professional experience, essential for their careers.

The Musicales du Bocage organizers aim to reach populations living in areas with limited access to cultural offerings and are working to raise awareness of classical music among a wide audience, including those unfamiliar with classical music venues.

The event contributes to enriching the cultural and artistic offerings of the region, particularly in rural areas where culture plays a vital role in the attractiveness of the territory. The festival aspires to become a major cultural event with high-quality musical programming.

The program includes a pocket opera of “Cosi fan tutte” by W. A. Mozart performed by Micropéra, a group of musicians and singers studying at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris (CNSMD). The concert will take place at the Forum in Flers.

Tickets can be purchased by mail, online, or at official points of sale. The festival offers a range of ticket options, and advance booking is recommended.
