Every two years, the painters of the Army, artists recognized by the Army for the quality of their work, exhibit their most recent works at Les Invalides during an official salon; this year, exceptionally, their works travel to Saumur. Paintings, drawings, and photographs vibrate to the theme “Victories”, with fervor, enthusiasm, or solemnity. The talent of the artists reveals the depth of emotions in the evocation of individual and collective successes, feelings of joy and sacrifice. The Museum of Cavalry invites you to share these victories, tributes to the victors but also sources of inspiration in the face of adversity.
