On May 5, 2026, Purple Campus Cahors brought together sports and leisure stakeholders from the region for an Afterwork dedicated to the presentation of its new training program: a BPJEPS MAPST (Multi-Activity Physical or Sporting Activities for All). An evening of exchanges and meetings focused on collaboration, apprenticeship, and the future of sports coaching professions.
With sports and leisure stakeholders from Cahors
As part of the evolution of the BPJEPS Physical Activities for All, now renamed BPJEPS MAPST (Multi-Activity Physical or Sporting Activities for All), Purple Campus Cahors wanted to gather sports and leisure structures in the region to present the challenges and opportunities of this new training program. Nearly thirty participants, representing around fifteen structures, attended this professional event organized as a friendly and collaborative Afterwork.
This meeting allowed participants to learn in detail about the content of the BPJEPS MAPST, its alternating structure, and the skills developed by future apprentices.
Reflection on future joint projects
Discussions also focused on: hosting apprentices within sports and leisure structures; the region’s needs in terms of supervision and activity development; and the potential collaborations between professionals and training organizations.
The educational and commercial teams of Purple Campus Cahors were able to support the present structures in reflecting on future joint projects.
Through this event, Purple Campus Cahors reaffirms its commitment to a professionalizing training program, closely linked with field stakeholders. This highlights the importance of partnerships between training institutions and professional structures to nurture future talents and respond to developments in the sports and leisure sector.
