The IT services group Atos announced on Monday that its cybersecurity branch, Eviden, had secured a contract with the Luxembourg Army, the amount of which was not disclosed.
“This contract is part of the cooperation agreement between Belgium and Luxembourg for the creation of a medium combat reconnaissance battalion, based on an operational and digital convergence aligned with the French SCORPION standard,” Atos specified in its press release.
Eviden will equip the Luxembourg Army with a training platform for the Scorpion Combat Information System (SICS). The company will also study the digitization of Luxembourgish forces vehicles to make them interoperable with the new “CaMo” (motorized capability) vehicle generation.
Luxembourg has purchased 54 CaMo vehicles as part of the creation of a binational battalion with Belgium.
Eviden is Atos’s branch dedicated to cybersecurity products, critical systems, and video analysis.
