Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has stated that “the war with Iran is not over yet”, stating that there are still nuclear sites to be dismantled and stocks of enriched uranium to be “removed”. Donald Trump, for his part, declared that the United States needed “two additional weeks” to reach “all their Iranian targets”.

Diplomatically, Iran claims to have transmitted a response to the United States through Pakistan, focused on “the end of the war and maritime security”. Qatar has also warned against the “instrumentalization” of the Strait of Hormuz, stating that it could “worsen the crisis”.

Meanwhile, incidents are escalating. South Korea stated that one of its ships was targeted by airstrikes in the Strait of Hormuz. The United Arab Emirates announced intercepting two Iranian drones, while Kuwait reported a drone attack in its airspace.

In Lebanon, two Hezbollah-affiliated rescuers were killed in Israeli strikes in the southern part of the country. In Iran, state television announced a meeting between the chief of armed forces and the supreme leader Mojtaba Khamenei, who reportedly issued new directives for continuing military operations.

The Strait of Hormuz remains a focal point of international concerns. Prolonged disruption of maritime traffic in this crucial area could have immediate consequences on global markets for oil, gas, and international trade.
