In Thèreval near Saint-Lô, on Thursday, May 7th, a demining operation took place in the late morning. A 100-pound American bomb from World War II was discovered during excavation work in the former municipality of Hébécrevon. It is very likely a remnant of Operation Cobra in 1944 during the Normandy battle.
