An extraordinary general meeting was called by the local football club, JSBA. The meeting was scheduled for Thursday, April 30 at 7 p.m. at the Club-House at the Léopold Goryl stadium in Aubin.
A rare occurrence worth noting, this was an extraordinary general meeting, which is exceptional when held at the end of the season. Typically, it would be a regular general meeting.
President Francis Rigal’s decision to convene this meeting was to make changes to the association’s statutes. The collective goal is to start fresh and prepare for the upcoming season.
Renewal of the Board of Directors As customary, the JSBA’s board of directors was renewed, with some members leaving and new ones joining. Six new volunteers have entered the board: Jean-Marc Rome, Mickaël Boyer, Christine Conquet, Thomas Amaral, Guillaume Bousquet, and Morgane Mrozek. They join the existing team to bring new energy to the association. Thomas Amaral, a player at the club, stated, “I now wish to get involved in the club by contributing my skills, particularly in mentoring young players to help them progress as they represent the future.”
A future meeting of the board of directors will be organized to install the new board with the election of the president, secretary, and treasurer.
Opinions of the Elected Officials All elected officials want to highlight the new dynamic driven by Francis Rigal with the aim of further revitalizing the sports association. Regional councilor Pascal Mazet expressed, “I am very proud that you organized this extraordinary meeting. It gives a boost to this new dynamic so that JSBA can become a great club again.” In line with this, Jean-Claude Granier, the mayor of Aubin, said, “I am delighted with the discussions held during this meeting, showing the eagerness of volunteers to succeed in the projects they lead and happy to see new faces eager to get involved.”
