To celebrate Star Wars Day on May 4, the community of fans and cosplayers gathered in Luxembourg last Sunday.
The capital was bustling this Sunday, with a flea market in the Gare district, artist stands at Konscht am Gronn, Octave celebrations at the cathedral, and Maertchen, the traditional fair at Guillaume-II Square.
While children rode carousels and tourists enjoyed ice cream, a different atmosphere prevailed in Grand-Rue, with the iconic soundtrack of Star Wars echoing from the speakers at Neuberg. No doubt, this is where the “May the 4th be With You” event is taking place.
In the underground of Réservoir, behind a hidden door of the well-known local independent bookstore, we encounter about twenty Star Wars enthusiasts dressing in their armor, capes, boots, hoods, and helmets, perfecting the last details before a grand parade.
