News about Noa Nakataici. For any follower of French rugby, the name of the former Clermont winger brings back memories. Arriving at ASM in 2010 from his native Fiji, the winger then established himself on the wing for the Jaunards and lived out a dream. And for good reason, eligible for the French team, he first wore the blue jersey in 2015.

That same year, the child from Lautoka started in the 2015 World Cup on the wing, but suffered a crushing defeat in the quarter-finals against the All Blacks (62-13). In total, Nakaitaci earned 15 caps from 2015 to 2017, playing for Clermont, Lyon and Toulon, before joining Limoges in 2023 in the amateur world of Fédérale 1.

Transition to coaching

The 35-year-old player will now hang up his boots to pursue a coaching career. Indeed, Tulle club, who narrowly secured their place in Fédérale 1, announced the arrival of Nakaitaci: “The Sporting Club Tulle Corrèze is proud to announce the arrival of our new backs coach for next season. Coming from Limoges, Noa will bring all his experience and expertise to the Tulle team. Having played for ASM, LOU or Toulon, 10 years in Top 14, 15 international caps, two Six Nations tournaments and a World Cup, we are proud to welcome you to Cueille.”

Freshly graduated, Noa Nakataici will now start a brand new adventure and will have the daunting task of once again keeping the Tulle club at the highest level of amateur rugby.
