The essential She is American and he is from Tarn-et-Garonne. The album “Faces” marks a turning point in the musical journey of Alyssa Galvan and Matéo Perfetti. The result of two years of creation, it will be unveiled this Thursday, April 30, 2026 on the stage of the Acoustic Bar in Montauban before embarking on a tour that will take the couple to stages at festivals this summer in France and the United States.
Two years of work. This is what represents the album “Faces” by the American singer Alyssa Galvan, who composes her music with her husband from Tarn-et-Garonne, Matéo Perfetti. A release party is scheduled for Thursday, April 30 at the Acoustic Café Concert in Montauban to celebrate this new opus. The album will be available for streaming on all platforms and on CD from that date.
“This album is a major turning point in our music. Very important people have contributed to it,” notes Matéo Perfetti. The project’s realization has notably benefited from the expertise of Jean-François Berger, a historic collaborator of big names in French music such as Renaud.
The American singer settled near Montauban
This third album symbolizes a pivotal step for Alyssa Galvan: “It speaks of my evolution, of moving and growing,” she explains. Originally from Joplin, Missouri, she met her future husband during a blues workshop in Mississippi. They then followed each other on other projects. United by music, they quickly got married to settle in Tarn-et-Garonne.
The duo now composes together, accompanied by bassist Pierre Cabirol and Montalbanese drummer Lucas Lopes, who join them on stage depending on the events. After their concert in Montauban, they will embark on a national tour with several festivals this summer, including Notes en Vert near La Rochelle, Bluesberry near Châteauroux, and Guitar at Plot near Clermont-Ferrand. They will then head to a series of dates in the United States.
An evening that will groove
On Thursday, April 30, 2026, the evening will start with jazz and blues tunes by artist Ben Jacobacci. He is a one-man band musician who plays all his instruments alone with original compositions. La Bedoune, a duo and parents of Matéo Perfetti, will then take over. They have won four major awards since 2025, including the Voice of the Year 2026.
Finally, Alyssa Galvan’s quartet will take the stage to make the audience groove to funk and disco rhythms. “It will groove,” promises Matéo Perfetti, both partner in life and on stage with the musician. The lineup focuses exclusively on original compositions. Tickets are available for 15 euros. Entry is free for children under ten years old.
A family story
The event is produced by Starz Productions, run by Marius Perfetti, brother of Matéo and son of La Bedoune members. This is the first evening produced by the structure, where all the artists on the bill come from the catalog. In the Perfetti family, music is passed down from generation to generation: “I grew up with the Beatles,” says Matéo Perfetti.
“That’s what made me want to make music,” he continues. On April 30, the entire Perfetti family will be on stage or backstage. “It’s a great way to celebrate the album,” concludes Alyssa Galvan’s husband, Matéo Perfetti.
