At the International Multihull Show, the city has reached a decisive milestone in transforming its port by unveiling two key facilities at the Baumel peninsula (west docks): the Nautical Hall and the Port Office. This announcement is part of the City-Port project, an ambitious program aimed at solidifying the station’s nautical appeal.

On over 3,000 square meters, the Nautical Hall is designed to be a central hub for nautical activities. Designed by the Rougerie-Tangram agency, it will bring together professionals, dealers, and associations on a single site. The hall will include a showroom on the docks and a technical courtyard, incorporating sustainable solutions like solar panels and climate change considerations.

The Port Office will complement the Nautical Hall. Designed by the ODA agency, it will house the port’s operational functions: technical hangar, lift management, restrooms, and boat storage area. Serving as a link between professionals, sailors, and the public, it will also feature a dining area, adding to the site’s vibrancy and connection to the city.

In addition to these two facilities, the City-Port project envisions a comprehensive transformation including revamping quays and pontoons, creating new public spaces, a 135-space parking lot, modernizing port infrastructure, and developing housing options (244 units, with 50% being affordable).

Scheduled to begin in 2026, the project will unfold in multiple phases: ongoing port and maritime works this year, construction of the Port Office in 2026-2027, and the completion of the Nautical Hall in 2027-2028.
