The school, sensitive to the values promoted by the “Foot l’école” program, wanted to engage its students from CP to CM2 in a sequence combining sports, culture, and moral values. During six sessions made possible outdoors, on the school field, thanks to a lenient weather, the students benefited from multiple workshops under the guidance of members of the local football club, USLB, but also members of the Aveyron District.
The children worked on handling the round ball, of course, but in an era where inclusion is highly discussed, they also practiced this sport in situations of motor or visual difficulty. A workshop called “Fitfoot”, with music, concluded the sequence. In parallel to this sports initiative, the children carried out an artistic project around the five values of the “Prets” program (enjoyment, respect, commitment, tolerance, solidarity). During the last session, Anaëlle Laffineur, head of the “Foot l’école” project at the FFF’s national technical direction, was present to observe the actions carried out by the Aveyron District on the field.
The children were delighted with the small gift offered as a reward for their involvement in this project and particularly appreciated the friendly moment of the snack provided by the school’s APE. The teachers also praised the quality of this intervention, both for the richness of its educational content and for the values it conveys. They would like to thank the participants Xavier, Mathéo, and Clarisse from USLB, as well as Candy from the District.
