On March 14, 2026 at 6:16 p.m., 25 members of the Bagnoles club in Orne gathered for their annual meeting led by President Gaspard Jarry. He presented the moral report for 2025, highlighting the club’s new treasurer, Karin Poussier.

The president reminded members about Equirando, which took place at the end of July 2025 at the Bruyères aerodrome, resulting in a four-week flight ban. He also announced that in May, the Army will conduct drone launch exercises at the aerodrome.

In 2025, the club’s plane, the Robin DR 400 160, logged 150 flight hours. President also mentioned the 100% success rate in the BIA (Aeronautical Initiation Certificate) for 6 middle school students from La Ferté-Macé initiated by the club.

Since October 2025, the Aero Club has a new instructor, Roger Paul Bézier, who is currently training five students to become pilots.

Recently, the municipality of Bagnoles created a pedestrian path from the aircraft parking lot to the town center.

Upcoming events include a tripe and barbecue lunch on Sunday, April 28, and open days on June 13 and 14 with air and ULM flights. Vintage cars from the Alpines and BMC club will also be displayed.
