    ARSON INVESTIGATION | Flames engulf garage, vehicle in York County, police say

    Police in York County have launched an arson investigation after a garage fire early Friday morning, according to the Hanover Borough Police Department. The fire was reported in the first block of Hollywood Avenue near Broadway at 2:19 a.m. Dispatchers told WGAL a detached garage was engulfed in flames, causing the roof to collapse. A vehicle was also on fire, and a nearby home sustained heat damage, according to dispatchers. Police said the incident was determined to be arson, prompting an investigation. Hanover Area Fire and Rescue Chief Anthony Clousher said one firefighter was injured while fighting the flames. The severity of their injuries is unknown.
