Luis Enrique delighted with PSG’s “almost perfect” evening
Luis Enrique admitted to having lived an “almost perfect” evening after PSG’s victory on Wednesday at the Parc des Princes against Nantes (3-0).
A pleased coach. Winning 3-0 against Nantes on Wednesday, Paris SG, which regained a four-point lead over runner-up Lens, experienced an “almost perfect” evening, rejoiced their coach Luis Enrique.
It was an “almost perfect evening I would say, because it was important to win”, said Luis Enrique, who also enjoyed “being able to see different players who do not play take advantage of their minutes (of play)”.
The Parisian coach also praised the performance of his attacker Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, who scored a brace. “He thought it was the Champions League” (which is played during the week, like this rescheduled match of the 26th matchday of Ligue 1), joked the Spanish coach of PSG, less than a week before the first leg of the Champions League semi-final against Bayern Munich.
“For me, throughout the year, he is a very high-level player”, added Luis Enrique about the Georgian, whose performances in Ligue 1 this season have sometimes been less successful than those in European matches. “He has a quality in the character he shows, regardless of the match, which is very important”, emphasized the Parisian coach.
