The leader, Dijon, welcomed their runner-up, FC Sochaux-Montbéliard, in a match crucial for promotion to Ligue 2. However, neither team managed to gain an advantage over the other, and the match ended goalless. Former Saint-Étienne goalkeeper, Lenny Montfort, shone in the Dijon goal, thwarting the former teammate of Samy Baghdadi on numerous occasions from claiming victory and taking all three points.

This draw benefited both teams, as at the same time, FC Rouen, who was third and five points behind Sochaux before the match, also drew 0-0 against Concarneau. With this result, Kenny Rocha Santos’ teammates fall off the podium and see Fleury move ahead of them, thanks to their two-nil victory over Valenciennes with Charles Abi.

Still in contention for the playoff spot, our neighbors at Puy Foot 43, drew 0-0 away at QRM, dropping to 7th place but remaining just three points behind Fleury, the current third-place playoff spot.
