These memoirs, published by Trois Colonnes editions on December 3, 2024, were written following advice from his daughter Alexandra: “Dad, all the stories you tell me, you should write them. You know so many people, you have invited so many stars to TV or prestigious events, you need to share everything you have experienced,” said the influencer. “So, I put my numerous and beautiful memories with all these celebrities on paper, and the list is long,” shared the interested party about this literary project in the columns of ‘Ici Paris’ on Wednesday, February 18, 2026.
Daniel Lauclair has a plethora of surprising anecdotes. “Babel appreciated tennis and particularly boxing, like Alain Delon, whom I wanted to take to the Beijing Olympics in 2008,” said Lauclair. “People are unaware that Albert II practiced no less than seventeen sports! He was a black belt in judo and, since 1985, has been a prominent member of the International Olympic Committee,” he added. Lauclair also mentioned, “Adriana Karembeu held my two-year-old daughter in her arms,” while also reminiscing about receiving a signed shirt from Edinson Cavani in 2016 to celebrate the end of his career.
