As the final sprint is in full swing in National, Dijon has the opportunity to officially validate a promotion to Ligue 2 for the 2026-2027 season against Valenciennes. Here’s a rundown of the ideal scenario for DFCO on Friday, April 24.

Dijon FCO will be officially promoted from National to Ligue 2 on 04/24/2026 if:
- Dijon wins against Valenciennes (59 pts)
- Fleury does not win against Châteauroux (49 pts or less)
- Rouen does not beat Aubagne (49 pts or less)
- Orléans does not beat QRM (48 pts or less)
NB: All of the conditions listed above must be met for the promotion to be official. Any result other than a victory for DFCO (59 points) will not secure promotion after Matchday 31, as there will still be nine points available for all pursuers and the 3rd place – currently shared by Fleury and Rouen – is only eight points behind. Furthermore, the result of Versailles (47 pts today, like Orléans) is not crucial as in case of a Dijon win, FCV could at best match Dijon’s points total but would be behind in head-to-head encounters. This is not the case for USO, which could potentially overturn this order in case of a final victory against Dijon on Matchday 34.
