It is a true tragedy in the Amish community. In the United States, an explosion followed by a devastating fire has caused the death of seven people in a rural area of Pennsylvania, according to authorities, as reported by ABC News. The tragedy occurred on Sunday, April 19th in Lamar Township, in Clinton County, near Mill Hall.

According to the State Police, a violent explosion was felt in neighboring houses before the flames quickly spread, completely destroying the house. When the emergency services arrived, the building was already fully engulfed in flames, making any intervention impossible to try to save the occupants.

A propane leak likely the cause

The victims are a 34-year-old woman, Sarah Stoltzfus, and her six children aged 3 to 11. The family belonged to the Amish Old Order community and had recently moved into this house. The father, David Stoltzfus, was not present at the time of the accident.
