Akim Boufaàd leads the new list “Four villages, one common energy” of Val-de-Sos for the upcoming elections. After formalizing his candidacy, he organized public meetings in the four delegated municipalities (Vicdessos, Sem, Goulier, Suc-et-Sentenac) to introduce his twenty teammates (including two substitutes), discuss the main axes and priorities outlined in his platform, and answer questions from the residents.
After giving the floor to everyone, he highlighted the diversity of skills and expertise within his team on which he can rely and delegate, while also acknowledging the excellent track record of the outgoing team: “We will try to do as well, to continue managing finances well, and especially not to increase taxes too much.” The candidate emphasized the importance of setting up citizen and participatory commissions to gather the expectations and opinions of the population.
Taking action to strengthen the sense of belonging and further promote the identity of Val-de-Sos are also part of his priorities: “All residents should feel involved.” The floor was then opened to the audience, who asked mostly technical questions regarding the prevention plan for risks (PPR) such as fire, floods, burying power lines, trapping animals, as well as the Saint-Matthieu fair and the new voting system.
