During the evening, four finalists, selected by a cross-border jury, presented their projects. After deliberation, Stefania Becheanu was designated the winner and received a prize of 10,000 euros from the QuattroPole network. The event, hosted by journalist Alicia Hiblot, featured artistic performances and institutional interventions. Philippe Brunella, deputy to the culture of the City of Metz, opened the event, followed by exchanges with the artists and a roundtable discussion with music coordinators. Two former winners, Hervé Birolini (2019) and Oleksii Rybak (2023), were also in attendance. An original trophy, created by Maison Bianchi, was unveiled on this occasion.
The presented projects offered various approaches to contemporary sound creation. For Saarbrücken, Maria Teresa Treccozzi presented an immersive electroacoustic installation. Bernd Thewes, representing Trier, proposed a piece for flute accompanied by a multichannel sound projection. For Metz, Stefania Becheanu presented a performance inspired by rituals around the concept of fear. Lastly, for Luxembourg, Yliana Paolini, under the name The Night FM, explored emotions linked to digital environments.
