British tennis player Emma Raducanu had a mixed record on clay courts in recent years. After a promising debut in 2022, she suffered setbacks due to injuries and health issues in 2023 and 2024. Despite a strong performance in indoor clay matches, Raducanu faced a heavy defeat in Madrid, which left her mentally and emotionally drained. As a result, she decided to skip the French Open to focus on training and recovery. This year, Raducanu will have the chance to compete on clay at the Italian Open in Rome starting on May 5th, as well as other tournaments leading up to the French Open.
