From this Saturday, April 18th to 25th in Hyères, the French Olympic team will compete in the French Olympic Week in full force.

A prestigious event. From this Saturday, April 18th to the 25th, the full French team will face the best athletes in the world in ten Olympic disciplines in Hyères (Var) at the French Olympic Week, also known as the “Roland Garros of Olympic sailing.”

The 72 French athletes will compete against over 700 athletes, under various sailing conditions, in preparation for the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics as well. This 2026 edition, taking place in Hyères, is a valuable opportunity for Lauriane Nolot, who won a silver medal at the 2024 Paris Olympics. “Given our busy schedule, having this regatta at home is a luxury. I have the comfort of home, the confidence of knowing this spot, and there’s not much that can surprise me here,” she said in a statement from the French Sailing Federation.

Silver medalist from the last Olympics will have strong support, including Marie Barrue and Aloïse Retornaz.

A busy week awaits the athletes, as well as the French Sailing Federation, who will take the opportunity to mobilize specialists and implement specific actions such as coach exchanges between series.
