On the women’s side, Ethiopian Shure Demise set a record by covering the streets of the capital in 2 hours 18 minutes. Many celebrities also took on this sporting challenge. Gautier Capuçon, 44 years old, dreamed of completing the 42.195 kilometers course in 3 hours and 35 minutes. On her part, Laure Manaudou finished her first marathon in just 4 hours, 30 minutes, and 44 seconds. The former partner of Jérémy Frérot ran at an average speed of 9.35 km/h, placing her 38,924th out of 52,724 overall and 9,673rd out of 15,591 among female runners.
Diane Leyre was also seen running in the streets of the capital. The 28-year-old woman completed the 42 kilometers in 4 hours 42 minutes, with an average speed of 8.97 km/h. In the overall ranking, she placed 43,287th out of 57,428 finishers. On Instagram, the beauty queen didn’t hesitate to share her pride emotionally: “It’s official, I’m a marathon runner. I can’t believe it. Marathon in 4 hours 42 minutes. I will tell you more soon, but right now I need to realize what just happened.” Juan Arbelaez, recently a father, also participated in the Paris Marathon and clocked 4 hours 09 minutes, at a pace of 5 min 55 sec/km. Meanwhile, YouTuber Michou covered the 42 kilometers in 4 hours 47 minutes, at a pace of 6 min 48 sec/km.

Arthur, Dominique de Villepin’s son, achieved a great feat by finishing the Paris Marathon in 3 hours 12 minutes, as he revealed on his Instagram account through a beautiful black and white photo of him posing in front of the Arc de Triomphe. This passion is shared by father and son. While the former Prime Minister no longer runs marathons, he has competed in many throughout his life. “My first marathon, I believe it was the Paris Marathon in 1980. I was at ENA. I must have been 24 years old,” he remembered in 2010 with Jogging Magazine.
