New exhibition in Pertuis to revisit childhood memories

Until March 14th, as part of the Spring in Provence event, the Li reguignaire d’Au Luberoun association is presenting a new exhibition. This time, the team aims to reconnect several people with their inner child and introduce young ones to sometimes forgotten games or toys. In the Croze space, near the hospital, the exhibition hall showcases three themes: outdoor games, a toy store reconstruction, and games for adults.

“On the occasion of our association’s 46th year in Pertuis, we wanted to revisit this exhibition, which was offered about ten years ago in the city,” commented Claudette Occelli-Sadaillan, president. “We warmly thank those who contributed objects, and I would like to acknowledge the voluntary drive that surrounds the exhibition: setup, monitoring, and collection maintenance.”

A treasure hunt in the streets and “Motchus”

This Provençal fortnight also offers a chance to participate in a large-scale treasure hunt through the city streets and meet Méderic Gasquet-Cyrus from the game “Motchus.” The treasure hunt starts from 2pm to 5:30pm at the “Chat Chouette des jeux,” 137 rue Colbert, for a game lasting approximately 40 minutes.

From 2 to 6 pm at the Croze space, the host of “Motchus,” the game of Marseille and Provence dialects, will introduce visitors to several words that exude the Provencal sunshine. The exhibition is open every day from 10 am to 12 pm and from 2 pm to 6 pm. Free entry with children accompanied. At the end of the visit, visitors can try their hand at several wooden games, such as showcasing dexterity with a ball.
