Julien Doré forced to cancel American tour dates

Coup for Julien Doré fans in the United States. The singer will not be able to perform five dates of his tour planned in the country, as indicated by Arachnée Productions, the organizer of the artist’s concerts, in a story published on Instagram this Saturday, March 21st. “The failure to obtain work visas for our tour teams on American soil unfortunately forces us to cancel the dates”, the company wrote.

“Despite the anticipation and efforts made by our teams, this leads us to today’s decision independent of our will”, it continues in its statement. Announced in the fall, the tour entitled “Juju en Amérique” had five dates in the United States in the first half of May.

As you can see in the announcement video below, Julien Doré was scheduled to perform in Washington DC, New York, Miami, and finally Los Angeles and Oakland in California. In its story, Arachnée Productions assures that they understand “the disappointment of the many spectators who had already bought their tickets”. “Tickets will be automatically refunded”, the statement assures.

The two dates in Canada are still maintained

Good news for Canadian fans of “Juju”: the concerts scheduled in Montreal on April 29th and in Quebec on April 30th are not affected by visa issues. “The Canadian dates are maintained, and we are looking forward to seeing you there”, Arachnée Productions said in its story. In Europe, Julien Doré’s tour is flawless.

The singer made famous by Nouvelle Star has performed more than 120 concerts and brought together over a million spectators, making his tour the largest in France for a solo artist. “It’s about locking ourselves together for two hours in a room and forgetting a bit about what the day has been”, he explained at the end of November in an interview on the set of Quotidien.

Julien Doré had realized “consciousness” that he does “what [he] loves” in life, “in a world where unfortunately it’s impossible.” “This privilege, I have to do something with it, I have to give something back,” he explained, adding that he seeks to “do good” for the audience, “to shape the space for a moment.”
