Donald Trump claims that Iran is completely defeated, Tehran threatens in return to reduce to ashes

Two weeks after the start of the war in the Middle East, American President Donald Trump claimed on Friday, March 13, that Iran “is completely defeated and wants a deal” but he did not want this last possibility. “The media spreading false information are trying to depict the excellent results achieved by the American army against Iran, which is completely defeated and wants to conclude a deal – but not a deal that I would accept!” Donald Trump wrote on his Truth Social network, without further details.

“All oil, economic, and energy facilities owned by oil companies in the region partly owned by or cooperating with the United States will be destroyed and reduced to ashes immediately”, threatened in return the spokesman for the central general district of Khatam al-Anbiya, affiliated with the Revolutionary Guards, as cited by Iranian media.

No oil infrastructure was damaged on the strategic island of Kharg, Iran’s oil hub located in the Gulf, according to the Fars news agency, after American strikes against military sites. During this attack, 15 explosions were heard but “no oil infrastructure was damaged”, the agency wrote on Saturday, citing “on the ground” unidentified sources. According to Fars, “the enemy attempted to damage the army’s defenses, the naval base Joshan, the airport control tower, and the hangar for helicopters of the Continental Shelf Oil Company”.

The American president has made contradictory statements about the duration of military operations and the future of the regime in Iran. The United States and Israel continue to bombard Iran. Already, 15,000 targets have been hit, according to both countries. What they most want to destroy is the ability of Iranian disturbances in the region. Another top target: nuclear.
