The US Women’s National Team Wins She Believes Cup 2026

The American team was the clear favorite of the She Believes Cup 2026, winning all three matches. The games were closely contested.

Emma Hayes added another trophy to her collection! The United States secured their 8th She Believes Cup title after a dominant performance in the 2026 edition, with three victories against Argentina, Canada, and Colombia. While they earned nine points and didn’t concede any goals, it wasn’t a showcase of strength from Trinity Rodmann’s teammates. On March 7th, they relied on a goal from Thompson to secure a narrow victory over Colombia.

With a 1-0 score, the match against Canada also ended in the Americans’ favor. Sentnor scored the lone goal in the second half. In the opening match against Argentina, Heaps and Shaw led the way with goals.

This marks nine consecutive victories for the United States, who emerged as the tournament champions ahead of Canada. The Canadian team defeated Colombia convincingly with a score of 4-1 and prevailed over Argentina in a penalty shootout. Colombia secured a 1-0 win over Argentina with Caicedo scoring the decisive goal assisted by Santos.

Emily Sonnett is the only player to have been present for all 8 of USA’s victories in this friendly tournament.
