Sara Brentcheneff, a golfer from Lyon’s Golf Club de Lyon, recently participated in the Augusta National Women’s Amateur in Georgia, USA. The tournament, reserved for the best amateur players, took place at the Champions retreat golf club in Savannah.

Brentcheneff had a challenging start, finishing the first day with a score of +5 but managed to improve on the following day. Despite missing the cut for the final round, her performance was encouraging with no over-par shots in her last 11 holes.

The 18-year-old golfer’s main focus is on her experience in the US. She joined the University of Arkansas golf team in 2026 and is currently competing in the NCAA championship. Previously, she achieved a commendable performance at the Clemson Invitational, helping Arkansas finish 2nd in the tournament against SEC rivals.

Brentcheneff’s journey in the US is set to continue, with her sights set on further success in collegiate golf.
