Fabio Di Giannantonio (VR46) has found the winning formula, achieving pole position in the MotoGP for the second time in his career, just seven days after his first pole in Brazil. With a time of 2:00.136, he secured the top spot in Qualifying, outpacing Marco Bezzecchi (Aprilia) and Pedro Acosta (KTM). Pecco Bagnaia (Ducati) also made a strong showing, starting from the 4th position on the grid. This marked the first time he outperformed Marc Marquez in Qualifying since the last Grand Prix of Japan.

Despite the odds, Marquez was only able to secure the 6th spot in the Q2, his worst Qualifying performance in Austin since 2022. Joan Mir (Honda) impressed with a 5th place finish, and Jorge Martin (Aprilia) qualified in 7th position. Ai Ogura, despite strong practice performances, will start from the 11th position on the grid.

It was a tough start for French riders Johann Zarco (Honda LCR) and Fabio Quartararo (Yamaha), as they finished 15th and 16th respectively. This marked the first time no French rider participated in the Q2 since the 2024 Australian Grand Prix. Diogo Moreira (Honda LCR) will start the race ahead of them after beating his teammate in MotoGP for the first time.
