Just two hundredths of a second separate him from Marc Márquez, promising an interesting duel between Ducati and Aprilia at the United States Grand Prix. Luca Marini, the best Honda in the tests, secures a place in Q2 for the first time this season. The Italian took the 9th fastest time, behind Jorge Martín and Pecco Bagnaia. Enea Bastianini also secures his first Q2 of the year with Tech3, signing an impressive 10th time under the watchful eye of Günther Steiner.
As for the French riders, Johann Zarco is only 14th, and although the best Yamaha, Fabio Quartararo, is in 15th place. Both riders will go through Q1 for the first time since the 2025 San Marino Grand Prix.
