The first municipal council took place on Friday, March 20 in the council chamber, chaired by the dean of the elected officials Jean-Pierre Lyonnet. During the session, Patricia Pitot-Migeyrou was elected mayor. The first deputy is Alain Montrozier and the second is Evelyne Saussol. The local elected official charter was read. The mayor gave a speech in which she thanked the municipal council for the “confidence given to defend the fundamental values of the Republic, in the service of our municipality”. She thanked the voters who accredited her with 64% of the votes. “This is the recognition of our collective work and our commitment to advancing our territory.” She expressed her gratitude to the new municipal team “whose dedication and enthusiasm have been the pillars of this campaign, whose determination is a guarantee of our ability to continue our efforts in the general interest. This electoral success is the starting point of a new stage. I remain determined to continue our action with the same energy, to continue listening to each one of you, and to make our municipality a place where everyone can live in peace.” The next municipal council, the date of which is yet to be determined, will focus on delegations and commissions to be filled.
