The tourism and spa office is offering a “Compostela Weekend” on March 28 and 29, 2026.

For several years, the community tourism office has been organizing its traditional “Compostela Hike” from Livinhac-le-Haut, marking the arrival of spring. The 2026 edition, on Saturday, March 28, will have a special flavor.

For this edition, participants will be accompanied on the famous GR 65 – the Saint-James of Compostela Way (Via Podiensis) between the charming chapel of Guirande in the town of Felzins, and Livinhac-le-Haut, a town labeled as “Stopping Towns – Compostela Paths in France”. The selected circuit covers 9 km.

“On this section, hikers will be able to admire along the mythical pedestrian path, traversed every season by thousands of pilgrims: the cross of the 3 bishops, the Vivre Seule refuge work, the street art works of Livinhac-le-Haut, not to mention the magnificent views of the surrounding landscape,” said Magali Soubiroux, director of the community tourism and spa office.

Practical Information

Upon arrival, a snack will be offered to the walkers. And, in partnership with the La Strada cinema, participants in the hike will also be offered by the tourism office an entry to the preview of the film “Compostela” screened at La Strada the next day.
