In an article published by La Presse de la Manche on March 27, 2026 at 4:50 PM, Jean-François Nöel began his professional career in various laboratories, including the one at the Baupte factory (Manche), now Cargill. During his military service, he prepared to become an officer in the French army, first overseas and then in a parachute regiment in Bordeaux.

“As an instructor officer in mechanics, two accidental falls forced me to redirect,” revealed Jean-François Nöel.

He resumed his studies to become a logistics manager at Gedimat for fifteen years. “But I always wanted to start my own business,” he said. Thus, he opened his auto parts store on Boulevard de Verdun in Carentan on September 1, 2017.

Initially alone, he was soon joined by Johan Léonard, turning the store into an auto repair garage. Alongside his passion for car racing, he competed in the French endurance championships off-road in a former Dakar vehicle.

As the business grew, Nöel adapted to the changing demands of a clientele with automatic vehicles, including specific oil changes and ethanol kit installations.

“I offer a car preparation service for clients who are away for long periods and need their vehicle ready when they return to Carentan. This service is for those with vacation homes locally or those who are away for extended periods,” said Nöel.

Nöel emphasizes his commitment to reconditioning and recycling all vehicle components, including tires, oils, hazardous fluids, and mechanical parts, in collaboration with the group AGRA.

Environmental protection and safety are top priorities for Nöel, who imparts these values to Noah, a 15-year-old apprentice who recently joined the team.
