On March 25th, the city of Tomsk, located in western Siberia over 3,500 kilometers from Moscow, resonated with the cultural festival titled “Vietnam: the man and the country”.

During the event, organized by the Union of Vietnamese Students in Tomsk, nearly 600 spectators, including teachers, international students, and local residents, braved the region’s harsh climate to enjoy various performances.

The festival showcased Vietnamese culture through artistic displays, traditional cuisine, and popular games, creating a vibrant Vietnamese enclave at the Tomsk State University’s cultural center.

The success of the event was highlighted by the active participation of the audience and the strong applause, emphasizing the strong allure of Vietnamese culture in Russia. This cultural exchange not only fostered friendship between peoples but also allowed young expatriates to showcase their patriotism and promote Vietnamese culture to international friends.
