A decree signed by the President of the Republic, the Prime Minister, and the Minister of Culture, thereby confirms the appointment of Jérémie Rivoisy as Secretary General of Rue de Valois. This decision frees Stéphane Lagier, a state administrator, who was interim after the departure of Luc Allaire, who has since become Catherine Péregard’s chief of staff.
It is worth noting that the Secretary General assists the minister in the administration of the ministry. To this end, he performs a general coordination mission for the ministry’s services and represents the ministry in interministerial bodies in his areas of competence.
Human resources policy, budget strategy, legal security of the ministry’s actions, and the international policy of Rue de Valois are among his responsibilities.
A graduate of the National School of Administration, in the same class as a certain Emmanuel Macron, Jérémie Rivoisy worked at the General Directorate of the Treasury, before becoming a magistrate at the Administrative Court of Paris and then an inspector of finances.
He later worked for the Land and Real Estate Valuation Company (SOVAFIM) as Deputy General Manager from 2009 to 2012, before joining Pôle Emploi, not as a beneficiary. Starting as Deputy to the Deputy General Manager in 2012, he became Deputy Director General in 2014, until September 2018.
He was then called to the Élysée Palace, appointed Director General of the Presidency’s services of the Republic, a position he held for the following three years. In 2022, he was appointed Master Counselor at the Court of Auditors.
