Sylvie Dubertrand’s list aims to rely on associations, youth, and municipal facilities to strengthen local animation and create more opportunities for residents to meet.

In Maubourguet, the Demain Maubourguet list highlights several orientations aimed at supporting the associative, sports, and cultural life of the municipality. The stated objective is: “to promote a dynamic accessible to all residents by supporting local initiatives and developing regular highlights.” Among the defended axes is first: “the desire to encourage the involvement of young people.”

The list proposes: “to mobilize young people more around local initiatives and support their future projects, in order to strengthen their participation in municipal life and consolidate the renewal of the associative fabric.” Municipal facilities constitute another important aspect. The team envisions: “the reconfiguration of the small theater to make it a versatile cultural and artistic space, capable of hosting both live performances and exhibitions, conferences, or seminars. The ambition is to make it a recognized place in local cultural life, open to associations as well as event organizers.”

The renovation of the house of associations is also mentioned: “This site could become a more suitable space for organizing meetings, meetings, and events, with the idea of facilitating the daily functioning of local structures and strengthening exchanges between residents.”

Finally, highlighting the communal heritage is presented: “as an additional lever to strengthen local identity.” The list aims to rely on this wealth “to nourish a shared history and support the organization of cultural events that will animate the municipality throughout the year.” For Sylvie Dubertrand: “the vitality of a municipality relies above all on its collective initiatives and on the ability to create shared moments between generations.”
