Videos of unidentified flying objects, recently declassified by the Pentagon, reignite the debate on unexplained aerial phenomena. Between pilot testimonies, military images, and advanced drone hypotheses, American authorities promise new releases, without confirming any extraterrestrial origins.

A spherical, unidentified flying object shot down in mid-air by an American fighter jet. The image is part of the 64 declassified documents on May 22 by the Pentagon. Unexplained scenes, like a star-shaped object moving erratically. Or a flying object in the sky over Syria in 2024.

In an instant, it evades American surveillance, at the cost of an impressive acceleration. It’s the second time in a few weeks that the army has posted this type of documents on orders from Donald Trump, who wants to satisfy his audience eager for answers.

An unusual shape was filmed in 2013. But some elements are over 60 years old, like the testimony of Jim Lovell, an astronaut during a mission in 1965 where he can be heard saying: “I see a bright object in the axis of the sun with a black background and billions of particles around.” Alex Dietrich, a former combat pilot, also recalls seeing a surprising phenomenon during a 2004 training session, she recounts: “It was broad daylight with a perfectly clear sky and we saw this strange object behaving bizarrely and defying the laws of physics.”

Most of the recent videos were taken on war grounds. Syria, Iraq, Iran. So, new types of drones, state-of-the-art weaponry, or paranormal encounters? Scientists call for further investigations. “I believe these documents suggest that there is something to be explored and should not be ignored. It must be done with a rational outlook to find an explanation,” explains Garry Nolan, a professor at Stanford University, a specialist in UFOs.

The Pentagon does not confirm the existence of extraterrestrial life, but promises to release more documents soon on these inexplicable phenomena.
