The Los Angeles Lakers are expected to have a full lineup of healthy players for the first time this season after the All-Star break. NBA scoring leader Luka Dončić is set to return after a mild hamstring strain, while Austin Reaves will no longer be on a minutes restriction following a calf injury. LeBron James, who recently became the oldest player to achieve a triple-double, is also expected to play when the Lakers face the Clippers.

This will mark only the 11th time in 55 games this season that the Lakers’ top three players will be on the court together. Head coach JJ Redick acknowledged the challenges they’ve faced with injuries but emphasized the importance of staying healthy for the final stretch of the season.

The Lakers have a tough schedule ahead with no consecutive days off until the end of March. Despite the setbacks, they are currently in fifth place in the Western Conference. The return of key players like Deandre Ayton is expected to boost the team’s performance as they aim to stack up wins in the competitive conference.

Dončić’s absence since early February has been noticeable, but his return along with a fully recovered Reaves could significantly impact the team’s performance. Reaves, who was the ninth-leading scorer in the NBA before his injury, believes that the Lakers have the potential to win many games and improve their record with a healthy lineup.
