For over twenty-five years, Credd’o (Centre for Meetings, Studies, Documentation and Broadcasting of Oc) has been facilitating the lively transmission of Provençal culture. Located at L’Oustau di Petit, it has become a must-visit place for those who wish to discover, transmit, and understand the heritage of the Pays d’Oc.

In 1999, this Provençal association was founded to promote the Occitan cultural heritage, with the main goal of promoting Provence through its language, literature, history, art, and traditions.

Significant donations from Abbot Marcel Petit and his nephew, historian Joseph Petit, have enriched Credd’o with a wealth of documentary resources. Regular acquisitions of contemporary works continue to enhance the association.

An exhibition to discover until the end of March.

In March, several events are scheduled. On Friday, March 20, the general assembly will be followed in the evening by a musical conference dedicated to La Béstio dou Vacarès, an iconic work by Joseph d’Arbaud. The evening will be hosted by Pierre Bonnet and Françoise Verranini at the Cultural Space of Graveson, offering a musical and literary immersion.

Visitors can also explore the exhibition “Esprit de la terro”, dedicated to Joseph d’Arbaud and the Camargue, until the end of March. Aligned with the release of Obro pouètico, this exhibition provides an opportunity to experience Provence differently through illustrated poems, correspondences, and objects belonging to the poet. Other works by Léo Lelée, Auguste Chabaud, and Henry de Groux are also on display.
