16th Musicasöte 2026
For its 16th edition, the MusicaSäüÃte Festival invites the public to 3 evenings of classical music to celebrate spring! On the program for Friday, March 20: at 8:00 p.m. at Saint-Pierre church on 14-Juillet street, the duo “Sostenuto” with Marie-Laure Bouillon on the flute and Benoît Roulland on the guitar, will present “An evening without worries” with works by Bach, Legrand, Quantz (free entry with reservation).
“Cosmic Banana” at the Dancing
The cultural venue Le Dancing at 51, quai des Moulins presents, on Friday, March 20 starting at 7:30 p.m., a disco to techno #17 evening with “Cosmic Banana”. With disco, house, electro, and techno on the program, it’s a perfect recipe to put everyone in orbit! Free entry, drinks and food available on-site.

Humor Evening at “L’Audace”
The cafe-theater “L’Audace” at 27, avenue Victor-Hugo offers, on Friday, March 20 at 9:00 p.m., the show “Les dents du rire” with Jocerand Makila. The artist tackles universal themes such as identity, difference, resilience, family, and dreams. Humor that is accessible to all, sincere and deeply human. Entry 18.50€.

Meeting with “L’Echappée Belle”
The bookstore “L’Echappée Belle” at 7, rue Gambetta offers, on Friday, March 20 at 6:30 p.m., a meeting with Céline Leroy, translator, and Adrien Durand, editor, on the occasion of the reissue of the famous “Sylvia” by Leonard Michaels (Ed. du Gospel). A powerful text that tells the whirlwind of 1960s New York, published in 1990. Free entry.
CINEMA
Preview with the Rotary Club
The two Rotary clubs in Sète, Rotary Sète Doyen and Rotary Sète Bassin de Thau, organize, on Friday, March 20 at 8:00 p.m. at the Comédia cinema, a preview of Yann Samuell’s film “Compostelle” with Alexandra Lamy, Mélanie Doutey, and Julien Le Berre. A film that emotionally addresses the difficult subject of adolescence in social rupture. An aperitif with pizzas and apple pie will be served at the end of the screening.
The Best of Latin Cinema
The association Salsa presents, on Friday, March 20 at 6:00 p.m. at the Comédia cinema, the Paraguayan film by Juanjo Pereira “Bajo las banderas, el sol”. The story: in 1989, El Stronato or the military dictatorship of Alfredo Stroessner in Paraguay comes to an end after 35 years. The government’s media archives are abandoned and forgotten… The story of one of the longest dictatorships.
